Twenty auditors at Recoup (Peterborough / UK; www.recoup.org), Suez.Circpack (Paris / France; www.suez.com), Plastship (Waldems / Germany; www.plastship.com), Circular Analytics (Vienna / Austria; www.circularanalytics.com), Aimplas (Valencia / Spain; www.aimplas.net), Veolia PET Germany (Hamburg; www.veolia.de) and Swiss start-up Redilo (www.redilo.ch) have been accredited to issue the RecyClass certifications.

Chairman Paolo Glerean said, â??With these collaborations, we aim to promote the scientifically based RecyClass method as an objective way to assess plastic packaging recyclability in the marketplace. The certification bodies and their auditors will help us in setting up such a transparent and trustworthy framework.â?

In July 2020, two more documents were released â?? â??RecyClass Certification Bodies and Auditors Requirementsâ? and â??RecyClass Certification Quality Management Systems and Proceduresâ?. These add to the initiativeâ??s methodology published in June 2020 and facilitate operation of the certifications, RecyClass said.07.08.2020 Plasteurope.com [245673-0]
